Laboratory Technician

IBT seeks to hire a Laboratory Technician to perform cell culture and cell culture based virology assays supporting antiviral testing in the contract research services group. Candidate will be expected to work independently and be responsible for planning, organization and operation of laboratory tasks. Candidate will be expected to review data to ensure accuracy and proper quality control compliance and assist in preparation of technical and scientific reports.

Research Associate

Job Description: Integrated BioTherapeutics has an opening for a Research Associate in Assay Development. The incumbent will focus on laboratory work dedicated to the development of assays to support product characterization. Duties include preparation of assay procedures and reagents, data reduction and analysis and assay/data documentation. The Research Associate will apply lab techniques and knowledge to assist in experimental planning and design to support new assay development; independently analyze data and interpret results; collaborate on technical documents and reports; and interact with project management to answer questions regarding assay performance and results.


• Perform optimization and development of immunoassays assays for vaccine characterization

• Perform assays including but not limited to ELISA, SDS-PAGE/Western Blot, protein analysis and measurement

• Maintain accurate and up to date records of development and work. Report results to management

• Assist in writing and/or revising technical documents including DOPs, assay protocols, and reports

Requirements: The successful candidate will possess a BA/BS plus 3-5 years of industry experience. Previous laboratory experience with SDS-PAGE, Western Blot Analysis, ELISA and Softmax is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment are essential. MS Office skills required.
